Senior Manager Operations Control (m/w/d)

Job Overview

We are currently searching for a Senior Manager – Operations Control (m/w/d) for our EMEA Automotive Business Unit. This position can be fulfilled remotely via Homeoffice or in any TE Automotive location in Germany. Occasional business trips to our Germany plants can happen (10% volume max.).

Responsible to organize all TE internal activities, needed to support the growth strategy of Automotive EMEA Operations:

  • Deliver Business Elements into 5 years OPS strat plan including footprint, machine invests and In-/ Outsourcing
  • Manage budgeting and execution of Automotive EMEA Manufacturing CAPEX
  • Drive FY goals, strategies and initiatives across all EMEA plants
  • Plan & support execution in all areas related to Budgeting, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Capacity Planning
  • Connect to functional leaders, other functional areas (Finance, Logistics, etc.) and plant leaders in order to improve productivity, control cost, manage inventories and ensure appropriate level of manufacturing capacity

Key individual contributor role to ensure optimized manufacturing footprint aiming to achieve ambitious Automotive EMEA Operations goals.    

What your background should look like:

  • Degree in economics or in industrial engineering with strong affinity to KPIs and calculation models
  • 10+ years experience in Operations/Manufacturing environment
  • Base knowledge of Operational Excellence and LEAN methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic and tactical thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team formation skills - ability to energize and motivate teams
  • Strong experience in working with multicultural and cross functional groups
  • Ability to form successful working relationships quickly on all levels
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation
  • Fluency in English written and spoken, good German skills is a plus
  • Basic knowledge automotive standards (APQP, IATF 16949)
