Job Overview
Tasks and responsibilities:
As part of our development team for connectors in the Automotive Business Unit, your tasks as a development engineer (m/f/d) will include the following topics:
- Independent development / design of electromechanical components
- Consideration of customer requirements in the implementation of development tasks
- Pursuit of creative approaches in product and process design to optimize costs, quality as well as development duration
- Preparation of documentation required by the development process
- Communication and cooperation with other TE functional areas, also across locations
- Support in quality and cost optimization measures during series production
What your background should look like:
- Successfully completed master's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
- Several years of relevant work experience desirable, the position is also suitable for graduates with practical knowledge and experience
- Ability to understand application specific requirements for connectors and contacts (electrical, environmental, mechanical, etc.)
- Experience in the design of complex components and good knowledge of related tools, e.g. CAD (Creo Parametrics), CAE, PDMLink
- Ability to determine best course of action to meet schedules and/or resolve technical issues
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical interconnect systems / connectors (mechatronics and electronics knowledge) is a plus
- Good user skills of MS Office tools
- Excellent relationship and communication skills to work in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of German and English

COMPENSATION
