R&D ENGINEER

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and execute projects according to the "product and process development". 
  • Permanent analysis and optimization of the lived software development process at HCC
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve acceptable and liveable working methods and workflows
  • work methods as well as workflows, which represent a qualitative improvement of software development
  • Implementation of requirements management
  • Initiation of measures to prove the correctness of the software (tests in SW development)
  • Consulting support of the product development process in software development
  • Collaboration in the selection of software and tool suppliers
  • Responsibility for the realization and implementation of these concepts in software modules as well as support in ongoing series production
  • Responsible for the development of system test plans, execution of system tests at Hirschmann and at customer site
  • Participation in overall project meetings
  • Implementation of software project meetings, preparation of project documents
  • Project coordination, support of releases
  • Close cooperation with ODR and ODP
  • Cooperation and coordination with other suppliers
  • Elaboration of possible change requests
  • Observation of the market and competitive situation
  • Interface to the customer, maintenance of the customer relationship
  • Supplier of impulses for new products and developments in cooperation with the pre-development department
  • Observation of the technological environment and the customer's competitors

Education/Knowledge/Experience

  • Successfully completed studies ideally in the fields of electrical engineering technical computer science, media computer science, software engineering and software development and control
  • very good presentation and moderation skills
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Leading employees who are not disciplinary subordinates
  • Independence combined with initiative
