Project and Product Line Controller (m/f/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.



  • You will be a business partner within/outside of the finance department for all commercial issues, including review of proposals and contracts
  • You have an understanding of project profitability and influencing value drivers throughout the product lifecycle
  • You will be responsible for comparison / tracking of current project performance / global product line performance against contract and gap analyses
  • You will prepare the Strategic Margin Forecast for the global product line
  • You will prepare the reporting for commercial details on different levels/global product lines
  • You are responsible for preparing complex ad hoc analyses
  • You will be responsible for the presentation of project financials/Global Product Line Financials to senior management
  • In addition, you will work on special projects and have an active involvement in cross-functional lean initiatives

What your background should look like:

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in economics or industrial engineering
  • You have several years of professional experience in a controlling and/or project environment
  • Product/process knowledge in the automotive industry is an advantage
  • You are experienced in working with SAP and MS Office
  • You have excellent analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities
  • You are able to analyze data and convert them into information as base for improvement actions
  • Self-motivation with critical attention to detail and deadlines is one of your strengths
  • You have the ability to work in cross functional teams
  • You have strong, professional and effective oral and written communication skills in English and German
