The high-voltage contactors play a key role in the architecture of the battery disconnection unit of electric vehicles. They isolate the high-voltage battery and the electrical components, especially in case of emergency.


The market for high-voltage contactors is characterized by demanding technical requirements and is expected to grow at an annual rate of more than 30% until 2027.


The main role of a Product Manager in this area is to support the development and implementation of a portfolio and pricing strategy, ensure growth, increase TE's market share and work in a multifunctional team to improve profitability.


The Product Manager is responsible for the design, execution and growth of the High Voltage Contactor portfolio with a focus on optimizing the market position and financial returns of the product in line with the Automotive EMEA business unit strategies. The candidate will support the development of HV contactor business plans, portfolio strategy and product marketing and oversee their execution to maximize value creation throughout the product lifecycle.


  • Your responsibilities will include identifying market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape to tell the business "how to win".
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting product portfolio management and the development of new products and processes that align with the business strategy and improve the competitiveness of TE's high voltage contactors
  • You will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration in setting sales, technology and operational strategies in line with financial targets
  • You will champion new product requirements and collaborate with R&D and operations on new product development to meet current and future customer needs.
  • You will be responsible for introducing our products both on-site at customer locations and in online and print media, maintaining customer contacts
  • You will be responsible for advising on capacity planning through demand forecasting and working closely with the supply chain
  • Your tasks include supporting the sales department with pricing strategies


  • Completed studies in industrial engineering or a related field of study.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in product management and/or B2B marketing is required, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Very good technical and commercial understanding, knowledge of contactor technology is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and unconventional thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, and SAP experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region is required (up to 25%)
