Lead (m/f/d) Labor Relations

Job Overview


TE Connectivity's HR Solutions Partners provide consultative geographically-based HR professional services, guidance and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.  They coach managers or employees to ensure that recurring HR processes, such as talent/performance management or salary review processes, are completed appropriately and on time.  The HR Solutions Partner manages a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics.  They conduct employee orientations and implement organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.


We are looking for a Lead (f/m/d) Labor Relations for our HR Solutions Team 


Your Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Labor Relations Team for all work's council and union interaction in Germany for strategic and general labor condition topics
  • Establish the Labor Relations Team as a COE Team of experts on local country and workforce issues 
  • Provide guidance on standards and drive convergence of labor conditions in Germany, drive harmonization of systems and processes 
  • Lead labor relations activities from Due Diligence to final HR integration in M&As, assure interests and needs of business unit are met in HR deal work 
  • Support HR integration activities across all phases of the integration to assure strategic and tactical issues are addressed effectively and timely 
  • Build a cultural integration strategy and develop German and DACH integration playbook and work plans, as needed 
  • Provide information and communication material to support effective communication to various employee groups 
  • Run project management for the HRS function in EMEA Central

What your background should look like:


  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, HR, or Management or equivalent 
  • 8-10 years of work's experience in various HR assignments with proven success in labor relations activities (unions and work's councils in multi-legal entity environments)
  • Proven success in project management and in managing project managers
  • Ability to consult, influence, lead and drive execution into the region through close partnership with the broader HR function and all other stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organization, strong project management and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of German, Swiss and  Austrian labor laws and obligations 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills 
  • German native speaker. Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
