Job Requirements
• Design and develop innovative concepts, components, and products for next-generation automotive connectivity solutions
• Drive the exploration, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies, materials, and design approaches to create competitive product innovations
• Perform and interpret mechanical simulations to optimize product performance, reliability, and durability
• Build and validate prototypes using rapid prototyping methods and support iterative design improvements
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and actively identify opportunities for future product and process innovations
What your background should look like
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Strong experience in mechanical design and product development, ideally in an automotive or industrial environment
• Excellent CAD skills and proven experience in creating complex mechanical designs
• Experience with both parametric modeling (e.g. PTC Creo) and non-parametric modeling (e.g. Ansys SpaceClaim) is a plus
• Experience with mechanical simulation tools (e.g., structural, thermal, or multi-physics simulations with Ansys Mechanical) is a plus
• Experience with rapid prototyping technologies and hands-on prototype development is a plus
• Open-minded, curious, and passionate about exploring new technologies and innovative solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
