Finance Manager (m/f/d) Commercial Finance and Processes

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

 

Responsibilities:
 

  • You will be a business partner for sales for all commercial issues 
  • Your responsibilities will include working on ad hoc issues (e.g. uplift billings, price increase actions, retroactive billings...) 
  • You will be responsible for the reconciliation of commercial finance topics in Automotive EMEA 
  • Your responsibilities will include contract review as well as payment terms review 
  • You are responsible for Analytics of automated pricing uplifts
  • You are business partner for AR topics 
  • You provide transparency in the AR structure and are responsible for actively driving the reduction of overdues and bad debt
  • You define processes and drive system optimization (TE Operating Advantage - TEOA)
  • You will define strategies and KPIs that align with business objectives and market dynamics
  • Support target costing and business unit specific reserve issues

What your background should look like:

  • You have a master's degree in economics or industrial engineering
  • You have several years of experience in a commercial finance function
  • Knowledge of automotive processes is an advantage
  • You have excellent analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities and have a strong entrepreneurial mindset 
  • You are experienced in the use of SAP and MS Office
  • You are able to analyze data and convert them into information as base for improvement actions
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are among your strengths
  • You have the ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • You are a strong communicator and have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German
