The Finance Analyst provides financial planning, analysis, and day-to-day business support to ICT Global ENG and Global PjM. The role supports budget and forecast management, monitors NPI project spending, and develops fact-based analysis for engineering investment decisions, including talent, laboratories, machinery, equipment, and other technical capabilities. Working closely with Engineering, project teams, procurement, and finance partners, the analyst helps improve cost transparency, spending discipline, forecast accuracy, and the quality of business decisions.

Your tasks:

  • Budgeting and forecasting: Support the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, and long-range planning for ICT Global ENG and Global PjM; coordinate assumptions, timelines, templates, and submissions with budget owners
  • Month-end and year-end close: Support accurate and timely closing activities, including accrual preparation, account review, spending validation, reconciliations, and follow-up on open items
  • Variance analysis: Investigate financial variances, identify underlying business drivers, assess risks and opportunities, and communicate clear conclusions and recommended actions
  • Daily financial support: Serve as a responsive finance partner to engineering leaders and cost-center owners on purchase requests, expense classification, cost-center matters, accruals, reclasses, commitments, and policy or process questions
  • NPI project spending management: Track engineering spending for new product introduction projects from approval through execution; maintain project-level visibility of actuals, commitments, forecast-to-complete, and expected total cost
  • Engineering investment decisions: Develop financial analyses and business cases for talent, laboratories, machinery, equipment, technical tools, external engineering services, and capability expansion
  • Engineering cost allocation management: Manage and coordinate Engineering cost allocations within the business unit and across business units, ensuring allocation methodologies and drivers are transparent, consistently applied, accurately forecasted, and reconciled with relevant finance and business stakeholders
  • Controls and compliance: Support adherence to financial policies, approval requirements, accounting guidance, capitalization criteria, and internal controls; promptly escalate material issues
  • Process improvement: Standardize reports, simplify planning and tracking tools, improve data quality, and identify opportunities for automation and more efficient finance support
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Build effective working relationships across global Engineering, PjM, Operations, HR, Corp Controlling etc

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, experience level may be adjusted to local band guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and month-end closing processes.
  • Strong Excel and financial-modeling capability
  • Ability to work with large data sets, reconcile information from multiple sources, identify patterns, and translate analysis into practical business insights.
  • Fluent business English and the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones.
