Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

he Customer Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Customer Supply Chain team that supports the key customers in the HM, CAM and OEM groups. The position requires interaction with customer service teams, material planners, sales & marketing, other SC functions etc. There may also be contact with customers to follow up on their business requests. Projects will include generating reports on inventory monitoring, open orders backlog, delivery performance, freight spend, forecast 
Monitoring

RESPONSIBILITIES 
           
•    Assist in the review of customers’ current supply chain processes (order entry-> final shipment) throughout the EMEA region
•    Update and maintain appropriate KPI’s for daily, weekly and monthly review. Publish these on appropriate internal notice boards
•    Use appropriate tools to prepare and analyze reports on forecast accuracy and forecast monitoring  
•    Monitor special freight costs and participate in project teams focusing on cost control
•    Assist the Customer Supply Chain team members to monitor customer specific internal consignment, safety stock and VMI stock levels, highlight where stock levels fall outside agreed parameters and ensure action is taken to maintain compliance
•    Assist the customer Supply Chain team in the review of customer supply chain contract proposals and assist in the preparation of information prior to contract negotiations with customers. Maintain appropriate records and advise when contracts are due for renewal or terms are being breached
•    Respond to customer data requests e.g. packaging dimensions, weights, Country of Origin, MOQ/PPQ etc. with a detailed solution
•    Prepare and review open order backlog, billings and late’s reports 
•    Active Participant in development, coordination and optimization of CSC projects 
•    Undertake other tasks that are deemed to be within the competence of the individual
•    Identify areas of improvement in existing process and implement process improvement initiatives
•    Mine, gather relevant data and perform ad-hoc analytical tasks for planned as well as special actions. 
•    Active participation in TEOA initiatives of the team
•    Building SWI’s for all standard reports and updating incase of any changes in the process
•    Constantly working towards providing an extraordinary customer experience

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
