Job Overview
Enterprise Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) solutions have long been a strength of TE Connectivity. The Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) organization is focused on understanding how our businesses design, manufacture and introduce new products throughout the product lifecycle. Typical process areas they concentrate on include: Portfolio and Program Management, Part/BOM/CAD Data Management, Engineering Change Management, Component and Supplier Management and Product/Regulatory Compliance.
The Digital Part Solutions organization within Digital Engineering Solutions has an immediate opportunity for an individual capable of serving in a key role to significantly improve our PLM related processes and solutions built on the PTC Windchill platform with the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and present the roadmap of strategic opportunities for our PLM / PDM capabilities in alignment with business goals and drivers
- Collaborate with business champions/key users, engineering solutions personnel and other TE Information Solutions (TEIS) teams to analyze, improve and maintain PTC Windchill based PLM business processes and solutions
- Accomplished in the use of Voice of the Customer techniques to ensure the capture of comprehensive requirements
- Document user requirements for new functionality of our PLM / PDM Solutions (PTC Windchill).
- Analyze and support the data migration and business process needs of new organizations transforming to use of corporate PLM / PDM solutions
- Communicate with software developers and/or vendors to request enhancements or report application improvements/inefficiencies
- Promote the adoption of PLM / PDM solutions and educate users/management/TEIS personnel on their benefits and limitations

Candidate Desired Profile:
- Experience working in a global organization
- Experience working in the electronic components manufacturing industry, aerospace, automotive, military, energy or sensors industries
- Ability to travel worldwide
- Domain knowledge Design Engineering or PDM systems
- Education Required/Desired:
- Bachelor of Science / Art in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience. MBA or Master’s in related area is a plus.
