Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.


    Analysing Global Logistics data and delivering value through identifying opportunities to optimise process and operations and reduce cost to TE.
    Presenting data in output that is clear, understandable and brings value. 
    Able to work across different domains and get a quick sense of the business processes & flows, to translate business problems into the data realm and identify pertinent and meaningful solutions.
    Enables business partners to make informed decisions based on root cause drivers of performance by working with functional partners to develop and maintain scorecards; analysing and providing insights and performance analysis
    Quickly grasps the business problem and translates into tangible, usable actionable outputs
Work with team members to understand the business problem so as to conduct effective analysis to address various business requirements.
    Identify analytical use cases, size opportunities & support transformation initiatives with data analytics working with a cross-functional team of Finance Ops, Transformation leads, Reporting & Analytics.
    Share/Present analysis/insights & identified business rules to business teams to influence the change. Create & make presentations to explain problems, approach, and solution and progress report to partners. Have regular engagement with key stakeholders & BU’s.
    Deliver Optimum Analytical Solutions using data, business context, tools & techniques along with relevant cost benefit analysis
    Should be familiar with Cognos, Power BI, Tableau & TED reporting tools.
    Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity.
    Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods; improves working methods within role
    Initiate & drive process improvements by standardizing & defining the process.
    Should be extremely report Savvy with strong MIS Reporting Background backed up with excellent Analytical skills.


    7-8 years relevant experience in various reporting related activities along with logistics experience. 
    Knowledge of SAP modules pertaining to accounting & logistics. Excellent Advanced Excel skill sets.
    Skilled in Microsoft SQL server application software (SSRS, SSIS)
    Skilled in SAP BusinessObjects reporting software
    Strong numerical and analytical skills including skills in Microsoft applications software (Excel)
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Excellent attention to detail
    Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
    Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
    Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
    Strong interpersonal and networking skills – ability to build effective strong relationships both within the department and across functions and with customers.
    Strong background in Lean principles 
    Strong Documenting knowledge backed up with analytical skills.
    Fluent in English both written and spoken; 
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Logistics/Transport knowledge with insight into accounting.
    Exposure to Power BI, Webi & large datasets would be critical.
