Job Overview

The HR Systems and Workforce Analytics teams manage TE's HR Technology. They build, implement and continuously improve global HR systems, data, reporting and analytics platform. They also develop custom reports to meet business requirements, monitor HR systems and analytics needs and provide technology and analytics solutions by designing new or modifying existing systems.

Job Profile:

TE Connectivity currently has an opportunity within its HR Solutions function for a HR BI Consultant. This role will be focused on the delivery of ad-hoc and structured digital insights to support the Global HR function and internal businesses HR Solutions supports globally.

This role is critical in delivering digital insights to turn people data into actionable insights through use of BI tools and methods. You will be assigned to specific HR functional partners to gain deep understanding of their function, processes and the business areas they support to ensure you can deliver insights that they can relate with.
You will be reporting to the Head of HR Business Architecture, Technology and Insights and working within a HR data insights team including, BI Consultants, Data Engineers and Data governance resources.

Job Role:

•    Act as a point of contact to assigned HR/Business Partners to manage relationships.
•    Seek to understand stakeholder questions, businesses and functions.
•    Scope, Prioritize and Capture clear statements of work.
•    Turn requirements into prototypes to demonstrate clarity of design and purpose.
•    Seek feedback and commitment in approach before investing time in delivery.
•    Be comfortable in iterating and working collaboratively with stakeholders. 
Dashboard and Reporting 
•    Create visually appealing and logical dashboards and digital reports.
•    Design with the customer in mind, seeking to deliver usable products.
Data Management
•    Define, document and deliver metrics that are standard and usable.
•    Work with Data Engineers to have new metrics embedded in global data models.
•    Maintain data dictionaries to assist in ensuring clarity and purpose.
Technical / User Support
•    Provide break fix solutions and look at ways to reduce incidents.
•    Ensure users adopt new products through coaching, mentoring and enablement.
•    Work with enablement teams to create content and supporting guides.
•    Be passionate in learning tools, methods and approaches to BI.
•    Trail, demo and give input into improving the Tech stack used to deliver insights.
•    Coach and mentor internal team members and external HR team members.
•    Help build a HR Data Driven culture through understanding and interrupting data.


•    Advanced knowledge of BI tools and concepts.
•    Experienced in BI delivery through digital tools and platforms.
•    Broad knowledge data modelling, data pipelines and data management.
•    Highly effective in storytelling and data visualization.
•    Expert in using Tableau, Power BI or related BI Tools.
•    Strong experience in managing SAP SuccessFactors reporting, Workday or related HCM platforms.
•    Expert SQL proficiency. 
•    Some experience in programming languages and tools to enable data wrangling and statistical modelling including; R, Python, JavaScript or others.
•    Exceptional understanding of data modelling and ETL processes.
•    Experience with Cloudera, Amazon Web Services or others.
•    Experience directing and working with other data analytics professionals.  
•    Prior experience delivering and working in Human Resources function.
