Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical background with blend of Advanced Analytics experience (Statistical Modeling, Forecasting, A/B Testing) and Business Intelligence (Visualizations). They should be strong in performing root-cause analysis with strong communication, presentation skills, and attention to detail. This candidate must be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for data exploration and drive to solve complex business problems. They will drive business value by using a speech-to-text (Interactions Analytics) tool to transform structured and unstructured data into business insights within a contact center environment.

Responsibilties

We are seeking several years of direct experience leveraging large data, designing models, and extracting insights and opportunities for product and process optimization. This position requires strong experience in a variety of data mining/data analysis methods and tools, building and implementing models, and creating algorithms and simulations to measure and enhance effectiveness of business decisions. You will demonstrate a proven ability to discover insights hidden in large data sets and drive solutions and interact with various functional teams to design and deliver solutions that address customer issues and stakeholder business questions

  • Apply data mining/ data exploration to develop innovative solutions that solve for customer pain points and complex business challenges (i.e., sentiment analysis, A/B testing)
  • Provide statistical, machine learning and automation methodology with some project management support 
  • Develop appropriate methodologies using various structured and unstructured data and third party data (Duns and Bradstreet, Market Research)
  • Define statistical design and independently program to meet project information needs, conduct analyses to derive conclusions from listening studies, and identify new opportunities for standardization for value-added analytics
  • Work directly with the business in support of project delivery from technical perspective
  • Work on projects where independent judgment is used within generally defined procedures and practices
  • Build machine learning/statistical models on large datasets such as CRM, ERP, Hadoop, SAP, Oracle, extract insights from the data and formulate data driven recommendations
  • Proactively manage project timelines, risks, challenges and manage priorities accordingly. Work out solution alternatives with team under minimum supervision
  • Carry out research on current market trends and how the client can replicate/ enhance those practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key cross-functional business and technical stakeholders
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and knowledge sharing to more junior staff when appropriate
