Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.

What your background should look like:

• Individual is a self-starter, highly motivated and working with little supervision
• Person is accountable for providing detailed analysis around Key Performance Indicators, with a strong focus on the External Supply Chain of procured parts and materials
• Building and managing smarter solutions including predictive models using existing tools for better managing business processes
• Accountable for all data management and data mining activities related to advance strategic supplier and part number segmentations, visual reports
• Answers complex business questions with data analyses; applies their commercial savvy and strategic acumen to operate SCM tools (e.g., SAP IBP functionalities) for gaining new insights
• Solve ad-hoc requirements of Management related to data for critical decision making
• Is capable to execute and collaborate with Supply Chain Analytics and other experts on database programming and development (e.g., Tableau for Health of Supply Chain Dashboard, Power BI); has programming capabilities
• Accountable for proactively providing detailed root-cause analysis for set of Supply Chain-related Key Performance Indicators
• Extraction of data from DBMS systems using SQL/other query languages to create datasets for analysis
• Designs and delivers core and ad hoc reporting, along with first level interpretation to provide insights and support decision making by individuals, business group managers, and division leaders.
• Generate and maintain business decision specific reports and dashboards using multiple business intelligence system, Business Objects, Cognos, SharePoint, and SQL Server and other sources
• Designs dashboards in Tableau, Power BI to provide meaningful views to the business-critical information
• Communicate with multiple teams to gather information and provide management level summary
• Provide clarifications, training and support to the Development Teams
• Integrate Predictive & Prescriptive Models (machine learning solutions) in visualization to perform the analysis

• Minimum Bachelor’s, better Master’s degree (preferably MBA/Statistics/Computer Science)
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience

• Experience in providing insights on Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain or Manufacturing using Tableau/Power BI
• Working knowledge of SAP transaction tables, Database Management Systems (DBMS), SQL queries
• Expert level proficiency in MS Word and Power Point
• Experience in handling large volumes of data, providing insights, spotting anomalies, identifying trends and complex relationships.
• Exposure to working with Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain or Manufacturing KPIs

• MUST: Consultancy & highly analytical mindset
• Strong skills in stakeholder management
• Experience in automotive industry preferred
• Fluent in English both written and spoken; additional knowledge of another language (e.g., German, Chinese) is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Culturally sensitive
• Prior experience working in Agile way is a plus
• Always willing to experiment with new tools & technique to improve processes
• Must be willing to work on EMEA time zones (12 PM – 9PM)
• Experience in working with Team Collaboration & Cloud tools
