Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Digital Marketing & Social Media teams develop and manage all digital marketing campaigns, as well as digital properties to deliver a superior user experience, driving revenue potential and brand relevance by working with TE’s business unit marketing teams to curate and create content that helps build TE’s social media channels and across TE’s digital marketing teams for best practice sharing and te.com new function deployments. They design and maintain relevant portions of TE.com, external data activities and potential partner sites; monitor, evaluate and integrate digital programs to maintain the best user experience on TE.com for business units. They manage digital campaigns to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies and drive content integration strategies and optimization and manage TE’s social media authoring/monitoring platform. The teams are also responsible for online database management including email communication plan, database selection, expansion and maintenance. Team members have experience with content publishing, CRM, various tools and content management suites (i.e. Adobe), sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com), Microsoft Office and Adobe marketing tools; as well as experience with brand reputation management, and/or brand protection.

Job Purpose

The Digital Content Specialist will implement content and production processes (internal and external) to ensure world-class quality, brand and business unit alignment with TE authorized distribution channel partners. The Digital Content Specialist will support content authors across multiple business units in creating high-quality content on TE.com and other communication platforms. Excellent communication skills, a tactful diplomatic approach, creative problem-solving skills, and an ability to understand and respond to customer needs in a changing business environment are required.


•    Own tactical activity in support of business unit application campaigns and product marketing activities with TE Distribution partners including coordination with other integrated marketing activity. 
•    Translate existing content for TE Distribution partners to maximize value and contribute to overall success criteria; implement reviews and make process improvements
•    Provide guidance that’s in-line with TE’s governance model, digital best practices and brand alignment to support Distribution Reviews for co-op’d marketing activity.
•    Collaborate closely with relevant outside partners and TE colleagues to adapt content for TE Distribution partner utilization 
•    Creation of sales enablement tools – customer presentations, application guides, samples kits, etc.
•    Track, review and analyze data related to channel performance, distributor analytics and performance; present results to illustrate insights and enable decision-making
•    Balance multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities across a shared resource pool in a fast-paced and high-volume environment


•    BA/ BS degree in Marketing or related technology field with experience in technical writing
•    Project management experience required
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize
•    Excellent relationship management, presentation and communications skills that establish trust, credibility and respect
•    Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) a must
•    Ability to influence internal business partners with whom no direct reporting relationship exists
•    Experience with SalesForce.com, Eloqua, Scene 7, Endeca and other digital marketing tools a plus
•    Experience with AEM desired, but not required
