Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Marketing Designer teams provide design expertise across a variety of mediums (digital, video, PPT, print, etc.), managing TE’s visual identity through the development of brand assets and templates, requiring an understanding of printing process and design requirements. They work closely with other marketing colleagues to visually tell the TE story and create brand identity, executing across all online and offline marketing channels with consistency. They execute various design projects for customer and prospect audiences, including but not limited to: web properties, email, social media, branded merchandise, print and tradeshows. The Designer teams have strong design skills, both creative and technical, and an understanding of integrated and digital marketing channels, techniques and tools; working across various marketing and content management systems; and have experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud. 

As a Graphic Designer with the Global Brand team at TE Connectivity you are responsible for the design, development and execution of creative deliverables for leading-edge Marketing and Digital solutions. You bring a deep understanding of Brand with core strengths in design and communications. This position is responsible for creating marketing content designs from concept to production ready design, while collaborating with other creatives and integrated marketers within the team. The visual designer is passionate about storytelling with an eye for details and a blend of creative and technical production skills. •    Concept and design visual aspects of marketing campaigns, collateral, website and other media, including infographics, videos, print material and social creative
•    Ensure compliance with company brand standards
•    Own and manage the business unit’s asset management system 
•    Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary for a website, mobile application or video design
•    Consult with the business unit’s marketing team to create cohesive designs that reflect our business unit’s goals and objectives
•    Develop and manage the design “brief” to record requirements, business unit’s needs as well as the timing associated with execution.
•    Work with a wide range of media and use Adobe graphic design software
•    Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
•    Prepare mockups and present ideas
•    Amend final designs to business unit’s comments and gain full approval prior to distribution.
•    Illustrates concept by designing mockups of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
•    Create Product Brochures / Quick Reference Guides, Battle Cards & Sell Sheets
•    Sample Kit Insert Creation, ·        Quick Reference Guides.
•    iPresent content uploads / updates (legacy & NPI Content)

What your background should look like:


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Graphic Art, Marketing or related discipline


•    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
•    Working knowledge on HTML5 and JavaScript a plus, but not required.
•    3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
•    Adaptive design eye and skill
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize
•    Knowledge of file types, web and print requirements, file output and general production requirements
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and client
•    Portfolio demonstrates ability to design across mediums, strong grasp of composition, layout and typography
