Sales Operations Manager

Job Overview

  • Develops key performance metrics and dashboards that drive the performance of the sales and customer care teams, including opportunity pipeline, revenue growth, and overall business results.
  • Lead sales forecast, pipeline and opportunity reviews across geographically disperse global sales regions leveraging the S&OP process.
  • Act as Convener of the Global Demand Review of S&OP and support the development of S&OP TEOA best practice.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate demand forecasting from sales forecast and identify and track in-quarter booking to revenue opportunities.  
  • Liaise actively with the technical owner to optimize the use and enhancement of Salesforce.com to create a global standardization for dashboards and reporting for commercial leadership, team and BU leadership.
  • Designs, implements, and supports sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.  Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.
  • Act as business owner of  IBP demand forecast system end-to-end.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to measure sales performance, implements comprehensive monthly forecasting process by customer/ region/ product and performs ad-hoc analysis to ensure sound decision-making. Provide forecast risk analysis and develop gap closing plans with the sales managers.
  • Works with finance to supports the sales incentive process (modeling, target setting, letter distribution, payout analysis).

 

 

 

 

What your background should look like:

  • 5-7 + years’ previous experience in Sales Operations roles, within a technology/industrial company
  • B.S. or equivalent required (Finance preferred), MBA desired
  • Proven experience and examples of building and running a complex Sales Operations Plan
  • Demonstrate a strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with executives and functional leaders in a complex, global business environment
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to develop and implement best practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
  • Experience overseeing the development of enterprise capabilities addressing advanced analytics including. 
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM, associated back-end systems, SAP and IBP.
  • Proven experience on-boarding and training sales staff and act as the company's sales operations expert
  • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work globally and non-traditional hours.
  • Travel (global and domestic) 10 roughly%

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $127,800 – $147,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
