Job Overview
As a member of TE’s Marketing Centers of Excellence (COE), the Global Lead of marketing operations is responsible for three key pillars of enterprise functional success: MarTech strategy and management, shared services optimization and management and internal agency evolution.
In managing the MarTech stack this individual would partner with marketing colleagues in the COE, segment and BU to optimize use of existing tools/services and develop a roadmap tied to business needs and capabilities. For shared services, this individual would manage the existing team, largely based in India, to provide operational support to segment and BU teams including scalability that provides global coverage and talent development. The internal agency is a relatively new development and will require leadership to nurture development and adoption. In all three aspects there is a requirement for measurable service and operational excellence that improves functional ROI.
Together, these three pillars provide an opportunity to influence functional effectiveness. Through the use of reporting data and by leveraging our MarTech stack and resources, the individual in this role will help drive A/B testing, and facilitate data-driven analytics at tactical, programmatic and campaign levels to facilitate rapid, real-time pivots to high performing activities. By working closely with TE’s Marketing Centers of Excellence (COE) and the Communications Segments Business Unit (BU), this individual will play a critical role in setting strategies and activating tactics that support BU revenue objectives while in alignment with TE’s brand and values.
This individual must be skilled in cross-functional and matrixed organizations, working closely with Segment and BU Marketing team members, the digital and data COE and TE Information Services (TEIS). The individual must be self-directed and able to work both strategically and tactically, as needed. As well, s/he will help drive a data-driven Marketing organization focused on continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences that deliver measurable results. Flawlessly execute a high volume of projects that support a variety of different stakeholders on time and at budget. They must be passionate about the work they do; able to adapt quickly to changes in plans, goals or objectives and to both create strategic plans and execute tactical program elements.
To be successful in this role, the Marketing Operations COE Lead will need to be an exceptionally strong communicator who can build successful relationships based on confidence and trust with various key collaborators. This position will report to the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Transportation Solutions and work closely across as Marketing teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and influence the longer-term MarTech stack to improve Marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Design and facilitate processes that enable real-time monitoring, evaluation and integration of digital programs through analytics and data-driven insights on marketing effectiveness
- Enable marketing teams to continuously assess and refine promotional programs; guide the optimization and efficacy of campaigns driven by BU, SMB and Channel Marketing Teams.
- Represent the COE in the development of TE Enterprise-wide digital content strategies and optimization.
- Leverage data analytics and insights to help BUs develop compelling, targeted communications for sales, up-sell, cross-sell and other campaigns.
- Support ABM efforts across the enterprise to drive adoption through quantifiable results; advise, set and track performance against stated objectives
- Work with TE’s business unit marketing teams to create and curate content and compelling creative that drive users through a digital journey to purchase, cross-sell and upsell
- Create and analyze monthly and quarterly measurement reports, making recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and impact.
- Develop, execute and report on all aspects of global marketing operations to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Serve as subject matter expert and thought leader for the enterprise across all three pillars of Marketing Operations.
Key Skills/Tasks
- Experience leading creative and executional aspects of marketing programs leveraging search, email campaigns, digital partnerships and digital ads.
- Experience managing and optimizing shared services teams in providing cost-effective excellence.
- Leverage data analytics to help refine and direct Marketing activities and provide quantifiable performance metrics.
- Be experienced with and comfortable exploring, evaluating and leveraging Marketing technologies and processes.
- Be equally comfortable in a strategy and planning through to execution in support of marketing objectives.
- Guide and collaborate on the implementation of and reporting for Sales & Marketing Automation process for the businesses including ABM tactics, lead scoring models and reporting dashboards.
- Stay abreast of and influence the MarTech strategy that supports Marketing.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.
- 7+ years’ experience in multiple aspects of digital marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe marketing tools, including experience with content publishing, CRM, and sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com) required.
- Experience with digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and conducting in depth analyses around audience segmentation, funnel analyses, and campaign analytics.
- eCommerce and online sales / demand generation experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in multiple aspects of digital marketing, including following trends and industry players.
- Business acumen and understanding of Go-To-Market strategies.
- Strong reporting and analytics skills with ability to synthesize complex data points into simple, business-focused recommendations.
- Experience working with external agencies and technology partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and teams.
- Self-directed and able to meet multiple deadlines and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand technical information.
- Previous global experience is required.
- Previous management experience strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $155,100-$232,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
