We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to support this growth. This is a field-based sales role that requires extensive travel within the designated territory covering Georgia, Alabama , Florida Panhandle and Tennessee.

A Day in the Life

As a Regional Account Manager supporting Utilities, a typical day may include: Selling TE Wildlife & Asset protection covering LV, MV, and HV applications.  Managing sales to Investor-Owned Utilities (IOU) and Public Power utilities through our distributor partners.  Developing relationships with Engineering, Procurement, and key decision-makers and applying consultative selling methodology.  Identify and understand current and future customers’ needs and opportunities to introduce and sell products, services and solutions. Proactively address customer issues, including Quality issues, until appropriate closure.  Collaborate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure that financial matters, including cash flow payments, credit concessions and account receivables on current opportunities and projects, are managed and closed appropriately. Key measurables: Revenue Growth, Market Share Gain, and Obtaining & Maintaining Preferred Supplier Status.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, required – Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering disciplines, preferred
  • Utilities sales experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Wildlife & Asset protection covering LV, MV, and HV applications
  • Ability to work with deadlines and challenging targets
  • Flexibility in working days and traveling (field-based sales role)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Please note: Total Compensation = Base Salary + Sales Incentive Plan (20% bonus at target with accelerators for additional upside) + a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, company vehicle option, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.
