MOLDING TECHNICIAN
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Job activities:
- Prepare materials and equipment for molding
- Mold setup and injection parameters control
- Perform cycle time control and reference changes
- Product review and quality control
- Production data registration and inventory control
- Molding and process problem solving
What your background should look like:
.Trade school degree in relevant field and/or experience in job activities
More than 2 years of experience in molding, preferable with medical polymers, variotermic processes and compression molding
Knowledge on mold maintenance, electric systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics
Basic level of english
Motivation for continuous improvement. Accountability and Teamwork. Technical and organizational problem-solving capacity. Clean room work discipline (cleanliness and organization is a must)
