ASSEMBLY OPERATOR II-In Process Inspection

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to solder. Operate a crimper, cutter, tweezers, microscope, needle nose, potting, spot welding, equipment, and or machines
  • This position will assemble parts into sensors, which may include twisting, pulling, or pushing
  • Must be able to read SOP’s, BOM’s, Drawings, prints, and specs
  • Assist department Lead in ensuring the maintenance of all production and support equipment
  • Support a productive work environment, including housekeeping
  • Support efforts by site to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to safely and productively operate all the equipment within his/her assigned area
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision / Management

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

  • Applies job knowledge/skills and company policies/procedures to complete a variety of tasks.
  • Full knowledge of job role.
  • Identifies and selects the appropriate established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
  • AA Degree in related discipline or local equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be US person or PRC holder due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR & EAR
