Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering, Advanced Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, or Project Management assignments.
Experience working in global and multicultural environments with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience supporting complex product development and manufacturing projects.
PMP certification or Project Management experience is considered a strong advantage.
Engineering Design experience is preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills
Experience with IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, or similar Product Security frameworks.
Experience in Automotive, Industrial Automation, Embedded Systems, Connectivity, or other safety- or security-critical industries.
Experience leading Product Security reviews and supporting security compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
PMP and NPI experience.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process following TE's APQP and LEANPD methodologies.
Act as the quality interface throughout product development and launch activities, ensuring customer-specific requirements are identified, addressed, and fulfilled.
Participate in Design Reviews, Gate Reviews, and project meetings to ensure compliance with quality requirements and project milestones.
Partner with Product Engineering to develop and maintain DFMEAs and other product risk assessment methodologies.
Collaborate on design verification and validation activities to ensure quality requirements are achieved and documented through DVP&R.
Lead and support PFMEA, Process Flow Chart, DFM/DFA, and process risk assessment activities with Manufacturing Development Engineering.
Develop and implement quality control strategies, including Prototype, Pre-Series, and Production Control Plans.
Ensure alignment of Control Plans with PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, critical characteristics, and customer requirements.
Define and implement Safe Launch plans, including control requirements and exit criteria, when required.
Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA), capability studies, process validation, and equipment qualification activities.
Ensure readiness and approval of external components, manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment prior to product release.
Prepare and approve customer deliverables, including PPAPs, PSWs, FAI Reports, and other customer-specific documentation.
Lead root cause analysis investigations using advanced problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, and Shainin Red X
Conduct project audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
Support scrap reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the organization.
Ensure a seamless transfer of projects from Development to Sustaining Operations while maintaining customer satisfaction and quality performance.
Create Product Security workflows and Standard Work Instructions aligned with the Product Security framework.
Cooperate with Project Security Officers and provide guidance throughout the Product Security workflow.
Lead Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) activities.
Plan, facilitate, and document Product Security reviews.
Moderate Product Security meetings and provide technical guidance on security concepts and implementations.
Support engineering teams in integrating Product Security into the product development lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement of Product Security practices within the Business Unit.
