Job Overview

Responsible for planning and supervising production and all production processes and giving instructions to ensure that 

  • all electroplating processes are carried out in accordance with the established procedures 
  • the highest efficiency and quality is achieved
  • the smallest amount of process waste is produced
  • the best use of precious metals is implemented 
  • the best and on-time delivery service is achieved

Interacts, communicates and supports the various departments in the division to work together to achieve the goals set by the company.

Your tasks:

  • receives predetermined work orders and determines the procedures by which they are to be carried out.
  • performs a weekly scrap analysis and control
  • analyzes quality defects
  • participates in process improvement, Kaizen and TEOA activities
  • follows up and drives internal and external complaints
  • assists in the certification of new part numbers
  • monitors the production/process lines
  • contributes to the design and updating of the layout of the production area
  • checks and ensures the proper condition of the protective devices
  • monitors safety equipment (gloves, gowns, goggles, shoes, etc.).
  • contribute ideas for the elimination or reduction of environmental noise
  • follows up and drives the defined/assigned tasks to improve the department KPIs.
  • evaluates, prepares and monitors the implementation of savings projects
  • validates routings in production against SAP records
  • assists in the development and implementation of corrective actions for customer complaints

What your background should look like:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the field of electroplating/coating teal to real technology and in personnel management
  • English language skills >85%
  • Good executive level communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and produce results in a short period of time.
  • Local systems (e.g. PMC on line, P&Q OEE, SISMA, TRESS)
  • DMTEC / TEBIT platforms
  • SAP Production (i.e. orders, hours, delivery)    
  • Knowledge of the process and common quality defects in electroplating.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis (e.g. process, WWT, laboratory)
  • Change management and efficient conflict management
  • Determines best course of action to meet deadlines and resolve issues
