Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Industrial Business Unit is seeking a Global Product Manager (m/f/d) to support the strategy, lifecycle management, and growth of the Industrial Device product portfolio. This role is designed for a junior‑to‑mid‑level product professional looking to build global responsibility, broaden technical and commercial skills, and contribute to TE’s long‑term Industrial strategy.

As a PM, you will help define portfolio priorities, support roadmap development, drive new product introductions, and partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Regional Product Management teams. You will develop market insights, support pricing decisions, analyze business performance, and contribute to customer‑backed innovation that drives revenue and margin growth. This position provides strong exposure to senior stakeholders and is an excellent pathway toward advanced product leadership roles within TE.

Job Requirements

 

  • Support development of the global product and technology roadmap based on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends
  • Conduct research to identify new applications, emerging requirements, and opportunities for portfolio optimization; Gather and analyze customer insights (VOC) to guide product enhancements and innovation proposals
  • Contribute to end‑to‑end lifecycle management: portfolio assessments, SKU optimization, cost‑down initiatives, and product rationalization
  • Contribute to full product lifecycle management, including portfolio assessments, SKU optimization, cost reduction initiatives, product rationalization and monitor product performance metrics including revenue, margin, mix and competitive position
  • Support the development of compelling business cases for new product introductions (NPI) and support global NPI programs through requirements gathering, competitive analysis, pricing inputs, and launch planning
  • Coordinate with Regional PMs and Sales on commercialization activities, including training materials, collateral, and launch readiness
  • Support global pricing strategy and margin-improvement initiatives through data analysis, value positioning, competitive benchmarking, mix management and cost‑reduction efforts to contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
  • Engage with customers, distributors, and field teams to provide product expertise and support design-in efforts, identify unmet requirements, and collect and synthesize customer feedback to drive product improvements and longer‑term planning
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure product availability, quality, and compliance

What your background should look like:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced studies a plus
  • 2-6 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Strategy, or related functional areas
  • Exposure to industrial, electromechanical, device, or interconnect markets is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with ability to interpret financial data and market insights
  • Ability to collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams and influence without formal authority
  • High curiosity and willingness to learn product technology, applications, and manufacturing fundamentals
  • Ability to travel up to 20% internationally
  • Fluency in German and English required
