Job Overview
The Account Manager IV is responsible for driving profitable growth within strategic customer accounts in our Aerospace, Defense & Marine Business Unit through the development and execution of long-term account strategies. This role serves as the primary commercial interface between customers and TE Connectivity, building trusted relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business results. The Account Manager IV balances account management, business development, market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to achieve sales and profitability objectives.

Job Requirements
Strategic Account Leadership
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with business objectives and customer growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Anticipate customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to position TE Connectivity for long-term success.
- Represent the voice of the customer within the organization and champion customer requirements across functions.
Revenue Growth & Opportunity Development
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within existing and target accounts.
- Drive revenue growth through account penetration, cross-selling, upselling, and market expansion initiatives.
- Develop innovative customer solutions that address complex technical and commercial requirements.
- Evaluate emerging market opportunities and recommend growth strategies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess satisfaction, discuss opportunities, and address concerns.
- Effectively negotiate commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and contract terms.
- Ensure outstanding customer support and responsiveness throughout the customer lifecycle.
Sales Planning & Forecast Management
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to support business planning processes.
- Manage pipeline development, opportunity tracking, and sales conversion activities.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities within the forecast and implement mitigation strategies when required.
- Lead strategic sales planning activities to support business growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and customer service teams to ensure successful execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams in resolving customer issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Influence organizational decisions through data-driven insights and customer advocacy.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across regional and global teams.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales, account management, business development, or related commercial roles.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and commercial leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced education.
- Experience within industrial, aerospace, defense, energy, marine, telecommunications, or technology markets.
- Knowledge of strategic account planning methodologies and CRM systems.
- Experience leading global customer engagements and complex commercial negotiations.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $129,800 – 162,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
