ACCOUNT MANAGER (m/f/d) Aerospace, Defense & Marine

Job Overview

Role Statement:
The Account Manager is the outside engineering representative for a number of accounts in a defined territory and/or a specific industry/technology. 
The major tasks in this role are to identify the needs of the customer and to find -together with the customer- new solutions and opportunities for customer’s application, using known technologies or new innovative developments. The position is responsible for the design-in and development of new products and for managing the seamless and speedy execution of engineering projects. 
The Account manager works as the interface between the customer and the TE Italy ADM Sales Managers. The position also owns the full customer support in technical related items concerning the TE products. 
In detail, the ADM Account Manager related to this Job Specification, will be responsible for:

  • Gather all information needed to make the design input available as complete as possible
  • Work out, prepare and present TE proposals (product selection, design solutions and project objectives)
  • Interface between the TE ADM Account/sales managers and the customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information available
  • Work out, prepare and present TE proposals (product selection, design solutions and project objectives)
  • Ensure on time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activities
  • Provide regular project status updates to the involved parties.
  • Regularly updates on Salesforce.com
  • Design-in the TE products and solutions. 
  • The function reports directly to the Sales Manager and owns directly and manages the account and has continuously to be informed and updated on any ongoing activities

What your background should look like:

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in sales and account management in the area of Aerospace, Defence & Marine
  • Good technical background in connector design, relays, wire & cable, manufacturing and/or its application
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Very good knowledge of the Israeli market
  • Proven skills in developing/implementing strategies in support of market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business plan
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
  • Native language Hebrew
  • Strong English skills verbal and written communication, including presentation and computer skills (i.e. Power Point, Excel, Word) and able to work in an international environment
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required and working in home based office.
