PRODUCT MANAGER III

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's regional Product Managers manage all aspects of a product portfolio, from driving new product development to managing the lifecycle of the product portfolio for sustained growth and profitability.

They are responsible for developing and executing the overall business strategy to meet sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes a clear strategy for the assigned product responsibility that positions Industrial Device to deliver strong financial results.
  • Works with Sales to align timing of customer roadmap opportunities to TE resources.
  • Manages the product lifecycle by developing and implementing life cycle strategies.
  • Articulates market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Expected to develop an in-depth understanding of major competitors in the key product markets.
  • Tracks progress to the business plan and facilitates resolution gaps.
  • Communicates widely and at multiple levels in the organization.

What your background should look like:

Key Qualifications & Experiences, and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of product management and/or strategy and/or business development in electrical connectivity and ideally in Industrial automation market.
  • Proved track record of meeting/exceeding performance.
  • Customer focus with solutions oriented thinking.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities.
  • Drive for results mentality with the ability to work to deadlines and challenging targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions.
  • Business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial mind-set.  Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with business plans.
  • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
