Role Statement:

   You are accountable for Regional Product group responsibility in EMEA for the Industrial Device Products with sales of approx. $180M. Based on your specific knowledge, your function as the promoter of the global product portfolio to customer regionally, sales & distribution teams to drive roadmap & strategy execution, acting on customer insights, competitive Intelligence and technology. Be part of the global team, providing valuable regional input, solidifying the global strategy and business plan execution.

As Regional Product Management leader you will lead a team of regional product managers responsible for all aspects of a product, incl. its complete lifecycle, from new product development to manufacturing and to go-to-market implementation. You ensure accountability for internal and external customer satisfaction by covering e.g. TTM, delivery performance, response time, competitive intelligence etc. You play a key role by acting as an internal consultant within your own area of expertise as well as the advisor to our customers.


Key Tasks & Main Responsibilities:
    Lead a team of product managers and field application engineers
    Execute product promotion strategies
    Support Global PM to develop and calibrate product roadmaps and execute global strategy relevant for the EMEA region.
    Be the first point of contact to FE/AM on customer requests, evaluate and communicate requirements/gaps to LCE team
    Active member of Product Family Owner team related to any regional specific requests
    Guide Product Lifecycle Engineers (Sustaining Engineers) and Demand Managers 
    Identify customer needs and transfer them into the product roadmap
    Contribute with PM view to drive regional S&OP forecasting
    Identify gaps and provide technical product trainings to PIC, Sales, Channel/Distribution & FEs
    Champion regional projects and needs for their product lines, leading cross functional teams
    Collect and monitor competitive landscape information and communicate to Global PM
    Drive and monitor regional business performance through the sales channels (direct and indirect), reporting gaps to Global PM

Candidate profile
The successful candidate will be an accomplished product management leader from a highly regarded Industrial company.  S/he will be a seasoned operator and growth leader with at least five years of direct experience managing a complex Industrial product business.  The successful candidate must have a track record of success in leading a team and interfacing with customers and employees in the diversity of markets in which the business operates.  S/he will be a hands-on and accountable leader who is able to focus the organization on the most attractive business opportunities and improve the organization’s commercial capabilities in a market that serves both large customers as well as a fragmented customer base through the distribution channel.  

S/he must be action-oriented with a drive to win and a penchant for driving growth maximizing and profitability enhancing strategies.  S/he will be an inspirational executive with a real entrepreneurial edge who empowers and holds accountable his or her team to achieve world-class performance in commercial results, product quality, delivery, cost and service while building a culture of continuous improvement within the organization 


Key Requirements & Qualifications:
    Deep working knowledge of Industrial product markets, including how to leverage the distribution channel to drive growth.  Direct experience in the European markets is critical.
    A track record of developing business strategies and driving top and bottom line financial results.  
    Strong commercial skills and the proven ability to build strong partnerships with customers and distributors
    An undergraduate degree in business or engineering is required with an MBA being highly desired 
    Demonstrates mastery of a specific discipline by integrating deep knowledge of theory and organizational practices into work
    Knowledge of TE's business, products and processes
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills; presents technically complex concepts in a way to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information
    Creative and innovative thinker by giving input to the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute 
    Analysis market & industry data, customer needs, competitors and translates information into product line plans
