The AQ Engineer II role is aligned to the Global Job Framework (GJF) 5-3 Professional level and supports new product introduction, process development, risk management, and manufacturing readiness activities.  

Job Requirements

Lead quality activities for new product development and product transfers. 
Participate and provide Quality Engineer support in the Process FMEAs, control plans, and risk assessments. 
Support design reviews to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance requirements are met. 
Execute and document process validations, equipment qualifications, and test method validations. 
Drive containment, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). 
Analyze quality data and apply statistical tools such as SPC and Gage R&R. 
Support customer, regulatory, and internal audits. 
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to resolve quality issues. 
Prepare technical reports, protocols, investigation summaries, and quality documentation. 
Promote continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction. 

What your background should look like

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. 
• 2+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or quality experience. 
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies. 
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred 
• Experience in medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other regulated industries. 
• Experience with validation, CAPA, nonconformance management, and risk management. 
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or Six Sigma Green Belt, Prefer 
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14971, or similar quality systems.
