Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Data and Devices Business Unit is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Taiwan responsible for promoting TE products and solutions to support local Taiwan contacts for our top Hyperscale OEM. This is a Taipei-based position responsible for executing a strategic account plan for profitable growth by leveraging the full TE portfolio of products, services, and core competencies. This is a leadership position that requires strength in coordinating a sales and engineering support team to ensure a strong partnership is maintained. This role requires aggressive sales and engineering interaction with a major focus on design wins and profitable growth to exceed team and organizational goals.

What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities:

• 7+ years of experience in electronics industry sales (prior technical experience required)
• Serve as the primary interface between the Hyperscale OEM customer contacts in Taiwan and TE Connectivity.
• Local extension of US Hyperscale GAM with daily internal and local customer communication to deliver our customers an extraordinary experience.  This includes communication and negotiation on large RFQs for our high speed board products like QDD, OSFP, MCIO and Sliver.
• Work with ODM, local Hyperscale OEM contacts, local quality team, program managers and factory management team to drive China+1 and GC+1 strategy. This includes driving to complete qualification and close communication with the Hyperscale OEM on future manufacturing location planning and on competition status.
• Work closely with customer procurement teams to negotiate local and global opportunities, manage master Pricing, drive internal feedback to finalize pricing, and also ensure corresponding ODM pricing in Asia.
• Work closely and support customer local quality team, program managers and factory management team to drive all NPI qualifications.
• Obtain OEM Hyperscale forecasts to effective align with ODM.
• Strong program management skills to drive expedites/escalations on deliveries and quality issues.
• Work closely with TE FAEs and System Architects to ensure the team is supporting the global customer as necessary to become the preferred supplier.
• Maintain a high level of awareness in regard to industry trends and competitive activity within the Data & Devices market.
• Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies and drive down aging inventories.
• Effectively communicate with all other team members locally and across regions to promote the business needs of the customer.
