Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

What your background should look like:

Educational Degree 

  • BAC+2 ou bac +3 (BTS /DUT) in Mechanics, electrotechnic, electronic, electromechanical and mechanical. 

Professional Experience (years in what processes and function)    

  • 0 to 2 years experience in various Technical environment (Laboratory ideally)

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills    

  • Writing English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Other important things to note    

  • Precise, exactness, logic, Understand, analyse and synthesise one situation or some data collections. Being able to translate this in a clear way in writing or oral, self governing, curious, interested by the science.
  • Aptitude Physique:
    • Adequate (or corrected) vision to read instruments.
    • Ability to handle heavy or bulky equipment and samples, perform measurements in work environments.
    • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Aptitude Mental:

• High level of concentration to perform precise measurements and ensure result accuracy.
• Good analytical thinking skills to interpret complex test data and identify inconsistencies.
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve test anomalies or equipment malfunctions.
• Emotional resilience and stress management, especially when working under tight deadlines or during audits.
