Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

Experience and Education required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning and similar roles
  • SAP Production Planning experience and Master Data familiarity highly desired
  • Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable information (Excel and BI familiarity are highly desired)
  • Travel 10%-25%
  • Fluent Englis

Key Responsibilities:


• Coordinate with ICT plant operations to analyze and recommend Capacity and Supply Chain solutions to proactively satisfy potential supply constraints before they impact the plant and customers
• Assist Master Schedulers and Production Planners in using advanced planning systems to optimize customer delivery and inventory performance. 
• Collaborate with global counterparts to analyze & improve the end-to-end (E2E) Supply Chain process 
• Support the monthly S&OP supply review
• Drive actions to close any gaps on Supply Chain KPIs; monitor and report on these KPIs
• Constant analysis of Supply and Manufacturing relevant factors such as demand, materials explosion and requirements, etc.
• Review and analyze the whole Supply Chain to foresee and anticipate any possible disruption or improve/optimize the flow of it from a Tactical perspective; respond to unexpected events and report to Supervisor 
• Collaborate with New Projects development and Footprint moves projects from a Supply Chain perspective
