Job Overview

Manufactures and assembles various products per established facility processes, troubleshoots problems and performs maintenance of complex equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Design and develop new automation equipment and processes.

  • Define required materials, components, and equipment specifications.

  • Program new automated components integrated into manufacturing processes.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure acceptance and successful implementation of new technologies.

  • Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation for automation systems and processes.

  • Simulate and test automated systems to verify proper functionality and performance.

  • Troubleshoot automation equipment and processes when issues arise.

  • Lead and support the transition from manual to automated operations.

  • Ensure standardization and compliance of all technical documentation.

  • Participate in the preparation of machine quotations and cost estimations.

  • Contribute significantly to LEANPD-driven new product development projects.

  • Pursue excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods.

  • Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies to improve process control, quality, and efficiency.

  • Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes in line with TE quality and production standards.

  • Document all processes and tooling in the relevant TE systems (e.g., SAP, TLM).

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, including process optimization and standardization.

  • Develop manufacturing and automation platforms to support both new product introductions and existing product optimization.

  • Evaluate assigned projects, estimating labor, energy, and material requirements.

  • Analyze technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

  • Ensure efficient use of available materials and intellectual resources; collaborate and negotiate with external experts and company representatives when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable specifications, regulatory, and customer requirements.

  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies on quality, environmental protection, occupational health, and safety.

What your background should look like

Typically requires 5-6 years or more of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
