Scope

The Vice President Operations Strategy role will report directly to the IS Segment VP Global Operations and will be a member of the IS Segment Operations leadership team.  In this role, the VP will work closely with the Industrial Solutions business units and segment leadership to develop and deploy transformational strategies that ensures the network and supply chain across IS operates at the highest level of effectively and efficiently - providing best-in-class service to our customers. 

Job Requirements

  • Creating the process for selection, acquisition, and maintenance of manufacturing and operations technologies and systems.
  • Defining strategies, initiatives, and support of manufacturing operations globally.
  • Driving the establishment of operational plans and procedures to ensure products and processes meet established customer and company quality standards.
  • Directing staffing, development, engagement and performance management programs for all operations staff; managing, motivating and developing management team.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 15+ years operations/supply chain experience preferably in a technology environment/industry
  • Strong experience driving NPI in a fast paced technology environment
  • Proven strategic thinker/business acumen
  • High level of proficiency in supply chain transformation and extensive knowledge of supply chain design, processes, and techniques
  • Experience and demonstrated results in a large, complex global organization
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, working in a fast-paced environment, and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Record of proven results in driving structural changes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead/influence multi-cultural global teams, helping them grow to be stronger and more effective
  • Strong business and customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills
  • Ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships, internally and externally across multiple cultures and geographies
  • Passionate, resilient leader with experience leading change
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $xxx – xxx (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
