Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations. 

Supervise daily warehouse operations and team with respect to goals for safety, delivery, quality, inventory and costs; Develop and sustain world-class warehouse/ DC capability; Driving 'Right First Time' philosophy across the shipping/ receiving team to improve and maintain metrics and targets;  Responsible for the accuracy of the physical inventory; Define and implement new strategies to evaluates the efficiency of existing shipping/receiving operational methods; Responsible for receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products.

BS degree in materials management or equivalent years of experience; 5 years warehouse, distribution or logistics experience; Extensive inventory control management experience; Strong analytical skills, strategic and tactical thinking, and problem-solving attitude; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong teambuilding and leadership skills
