Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document current business processes across functions such as engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing.
- Identify improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Design and implement optimized future-state processes aligned with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and change management initiatives.
- Track and report on performance metrics (KPIs) such as process cycle time, cost savings, and quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with AD&M industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, ITAR).
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including automation, ERP enhancements, and data analytics.
- Develop training materials and support the rollout of new processes and tools.
Your Ideal background:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business process improvement, preferably in aerospace, defense, or marine industries.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), and process mapping tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience working in a regulated, quality-driven environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with aerospace and defense compliance frameworks.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
