This role focuses on analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and document current business processes across functions such as engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Identify improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Design and implement optimized future-state processes aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and change management initiatives.
  • Track and report on performance metrics (KPIs) such as process cycle time, cost savings, and quality improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with AD&M industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, ITAR).
  • Support digital transformation initiatives, including automation, ERP enhancements, and data analytics.
  • Develop training materials and support the rollout of new processes and tools.

Your Ideal background:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business process improvement, preferably in aerospace, defense, or marine industries.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), and process mapping tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated, quality-driven environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense compliance frameworks.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
