Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 Be a leadership example for the organization  o Follow the four TE key values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork and Innovation  o Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service) and Quality Policy  o Coach, develop and train the team members, motivate staff members to meet the objectives and targets  

 Strive for continuous improvement of processes towards customer satisfaction

 Ensure every employee is responsible for his / her own work o Carry out duties in accordance with the current quality, environmental, and work and safety, health protection policies of the company as well as the duties defined in employee’s scope of responsibilities

 Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures  o Implement, maintain (including reporting changes) and improve the quality management system in its area of intervention, as well as in interaction with other areas / departments and EMEA guidelines

 Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations o Implement, support and guide employees to enable them to work safely, comply with regulations, TE policies and specifications and on achieving environmental sustainability goals

 Implementation and consolidation of the 15 TEOA tools like, Quick Change Over, 5S, etc.

 Coordinate the TEOA Practitioners which are in the Value Streams

 Promote the continuous improvement culture in all plant levels.

 Train and coach 6Sigma Blue-, Green- and Black Belts

 Plan and organize resources and capacities in the TEOA department

 Participate actively on WIG improvement activities

 Lead & Drive the TEOA Deployment Plan

 Prepare & Report monthly TEOA reviews

 Act as a TEOA Representative on site 

Qualifications:

 Engineer with university degree or technician with subject area: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or degree in physics 

 2 to 3 years experience in various Continuous Improvement assignments

 Min. 2 years experience in the automotive business 

 Ability to take decisions

 Good communication and presentation skills

 Good English knowledge, verbal and in writing

  Certified 6Sigma Black Belt or higher
