Job Overview

Data and Devices (D&D) Business Unit is seeking a strong candidate to manage distribution strategy and drive sales for D&D product families within Asia. This candidate will be responsible for implementing a sales strategy to not only increase sales but to also significantly improve our engagement, overall interaction and position within this space, as well as drive accountability.  This role will include, yet is not limited to; sales interaction, training and development, execution of branch and market plans and growing market share and revenue.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Meet and exceed sales quotas while adhering to TE's Values.
  • Align Channel with the DND product and GTM strategies.
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for existing and new partners.
  • Coordinate with Product Management and Marketing on Key Design in Products, Marketing Programs, New Product Introductions and Inventory management.
  • Regular visits to key partners in key markets to drive engagement and ensure DND focus during board starts to increase TE placement on BOM’s.
  • Drive Product Management and FAE engagement at the local Distributor Branch Level to spend time in front of the customer.
  • Coordinate and Manage participation at Distribution Training Activities and Conferences (FAE Training, PM Conference, Distribution Summits).
  • Harmonize BU engagement with the DMM team and our partners regarding product placement in top projects and opportunities.
  • Organize quarterly reviews with key partners focusing on D&D in the channel.
  • Work with Product Management and Distribution Partners to improve forecast for D&D product.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, corporate trade shows, and partner conferences.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or Business required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in high tech or consumer products industry.
  • 5-7 years of channel related sales experience, demonstrating increased responsibility.

Key Tools Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the electronics components/systems industry at a corporate and branch level
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver formal presentations to senior staff
  • Ability to negotiate with executives at all levels of an organization is a must
  • Self-directed individual who can analyze market needs and deliver strong results through sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build cohesive and effective teams
  • Strong experience and understanding of Excel and pivot tables.
