Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service) and Quality Policy;
•Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations;
•Act as voice of Supplier
•Handling of Supplier complaints in TECHS;
•Lead root cause analysis on purchased parts and issue of corrective action requests, ensuring containment of internal stock to prevent line disruptions and follow up till closure with suppliers;
•Manage sorting operations / reworking (following a supplier claims) with the involvement of the supplier;
•Preparation of incoming inspection documentation;
•Have the authority to stop Shipment and production in case of Supplier Quality issue;
•Participation on audits (with supplier Quality) at supplier’s location according to normative and regulatory standards (VDA, IATF16 949, and TE relevant specification);
•Review of customer and internal complaints related to supplier’s product/process, verification of corrective, preventive actions and lessons learned;
•Ensure that Suppliers meet customer requirements
•Participate in NPI project reviews where suppliers and subcontractors are involved;
•Participate in collaboration with supplier Quality and Purchasing department to qualify suppliers
•Onsite assessment of production approval documentation at Supplier
•Member of the team for preparation or update of P-FMEA;
•Expectation of travel to Supply Base depending on business conditions

What your background should look like:


•3 years equivalent work experience in automotive quality  
•Experience in supplier quality assurance
•Experience with injection molding and assembly process advantageous
•English & French language fluently
