Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities


Supply Chain department control:
oFollow, maintain and control the standard workflows/ daily business to be executed by each SC planner (e.g. report creation)
oPrepare analyses for product, demand, system and manufacturing characteristics for whole planning team
oCreate and control MRP parameter optimization in execution with department lead
oSupport system issues, drive system optimizations and liaise with key users, SAP teams
Drive Supply Chain organization initiatives
oConstantly setup and maintain end-to-end responsibility
oSupport development of skills for SC team to ensure end-to-end SC management
oReview and optimize SC segmentation 
Drive SC projects 
oLeading & maintaining SC Configuration (cross department activities, value stream analyses, master data clean up)
oDiverse innovative projects to improve SC KPIs
Projection / Simulation of OTD, Inventory, Lates, Forecast development
Drive and support cross-department activities (ISC, Engineering, Production, S&OP, …)
Drive ECE across internal and external customers
Supply Chain Area tasks
oSupport maintenance of central reports to the EMEA AUT SC community
Support SC team in SC performance improvements as well as in capacity management


 

What your background should look like:

Master’s degree in business administration, Supply chain or equivalent
+2 years of working experience in Supply Chain
Proven track record of Supply Chain Improvements and related performance improvement results (e.g. inventory optimization, lot size optimization)
Good SAP & Reporting knowledge
Good analytical skills
Excellent in MS software
Strong communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas
Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude (“driver for change”)
Fluent in English speaking / writing
