Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.
Global Center Led Team – Resin Group, provides an ECE experience to all Business Units within TE by providing solutions on the technical and commercial side of the plastic raw material.
Position Reports to the Global Strategic Sourcing CL Resins – Ricardo Velez.
Provide User friendly tools that can help the CL Team to excel on negotiations and achieve the goal of ECE to all BU’s.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Implement and keep up to date SPEND CUBE for NA.- SPEND Cube is a internal data base created in order to keep track of volumes, pricing and possible offsets that help increase the pipeline on savings via VA/VE and Negotiations.
- Pricing Data Base.- We currently have develop a standard pricing list, rotational will be in charge of maintain and updating this on monthly bases with the current supply base, and assure that pricing is distributed across all BU's and updated in SAP.
- FACTON + New Projects.- Maintain and update on weekly based the new projects coming in to TE, in order to maintain a healthy capacity and distribution among suppliers, this also requires data analysis that might help in negotiations.
- Candidate must demonstrate excellent skills on Microsoft ACCESS and EXCEL.
- Desirable Knowledge on SQL and SAP.
- Preferred BA degree candidate in Supply Chain Management or relates fields.
