Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

What your background should look like:

Scope of Work:

  • Focus on building electrical systems.
  • Installing, commissioning, testing, maintaining and servicing electrical building systems
  • Locating and correcting faults and malfunctions in these systems
  • Maintenance and operation of power supply and distribution systems
  • Perform work in compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes, environmental and quality standards


  • Positive completion of compulsory schooling
  • Possibly school dropout HTL/FS electrical engineering

Modular apprenticeship - 2 years basic module electrical engineering, 1.5 years main module (e.g. electrical and building services engineering, power engineering, plant and operating technology)
3.5 years apprenticeship

Apprentice compensation in the 1st year of apprenticeship: € 896.90 gro
