Job Overview

The CI Manager will be responsible for the deployment and execution of the business excellence and the continuous improvement system and will assist with the strategic direction of the CI program as well support deployment across the business globally.

CI Manager will apply the lean knowledge in all operations areas and selected business processes.

Ensure implementation and execution of defined strategic plans.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Sr Manager Business Excellence & Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities:

•    Drives Lean Transformation Projects in the plants by improving and standardize Lean processes (TEOA)
•    Hands-on activities Kaizen Events, Business Process Improvements and End 2 End Workshops to drive continuous improvement and overall competitiveness.
•    Facilitate/supports complex, cross functional CI projects to increase customer satisfaction.
•    Coordinate/support the facilitation of Lean (TEOA) training programs and certification process by providing mentoring.
•    Conduct SL preparation assessment and support plants/functions in achieving SL TEOA requirements.
•    Propose targets for CI progress aligned TEOA SL roadmaps and ensure data is added and verified in the CI dashboard on a monthly basis.
•    Promote Process standardization across the organization in collaboration with BU BE&CI team, Corp. or Segment
•    Champion structured problem solving to build organizational capability, shape the culture and eliminate root causes of problems.
•    Spread a learning culture across the organization, sharing and implementation of transferrable practices between plants, functions.

What your background should look like:

 

Educational Degree
An undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.


Professional experience:
•    Hands-on experience in applying and implementing Lean and CI tools.
•    Lean Master/Black Belt
•    5-7 years’ experience at a multi-site and across different countries’ CI program 
•    Experience in Operations and manufacturing technology, engineering, and product quality as well as Supply Chain 


Qualifications Knowledge, Skills:
•    Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives.
•    Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & to lead debates.
•    Good strategic thinker
•    Highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change. 
•    Can communicate with all levels and in different cultural settings to get everyone on board.
•    Strong planning/organization & time management skills 
•    Track record of successful project management 
•    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, utilize process and value stream mapping, and draw valid conclusions.  Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
•    The candidate must also have a holistic overview of complex situations and deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise.
•    Working knowledge of the manufacturing processes
•    Certified Lean/Six Sigma
