Job Overview

This is a full-time position within TE Connectivity’s Global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) Team. The CoE team’s focus is on continuous improvement of TE’s suppliers using various cost analytics tools including cost estimation (clean sheet), cost breakdown, cycle-time and process analysis.  The Technical Project Manager will be responsible on increasing team efficiency through project management, data management as well as process development and deployment. The candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to understand current processes and conduct deep dive investigations on how to improve tracking and implementing cost savings (Productivity improvement) across all TE’s business units.  This will require collaboration across both Business Units (BUs) & Center Led teams and cross functional teams ( Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Data analytics etc.). 
Responsibilities:
Technical Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Analyzing current open projects; following up on execution and driving to implementation with global partners & internal COE stakeholders
•    Maintain project time frames, estimates and status reports
•    Create management, communication plans and processes.
•    Drive efficiency improvements through analyzing current processes and automating data and reporting; 
•    Establishing and implementing new processes 
•    In charge of following through on the design and development of proposed process changes
•    Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
•    Collaboration across teams, building rapport to execute on identified opportunities 

What your background should look like:

•    Motivated individual with a “can-do” attitude who is passionate process improvement and data analytics with the ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment
•    Proven track record of implementing processes improvement and efficiency projects
•    Understanding of cost breakdown analysis or clean sheet methodologies
•    Proficient in data analytics – ability to summarize large amounts of data and present thoughtful insights
•    Strong cross functional team collaboration skills; including influencing global partners
•    Excellent verbal / written communication – Develops strong relationships and can speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including Senior Leadership Team
•    Ability to take ownership of and maintain progress on multiple tasks. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines.
 

Education Required / Desired:
•    BA/BS Degree required (extensive experience will be considered). 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience within Supply Chain

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,720-130,080 CAD (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
