ASSEMBLY SECTION MANAGER I

JOB OVERVIEW:

Develop and implement the Assembly department production plan and coordinate the cross-unit production and process issues with the objective of ensuring a smooth production process within TE Philippines Assembly section targets.

AREAS OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and Budgeting

Develop and implement Assembly department budget and plan and monitor the achievement of the budget.
Allocate departmental target to their performance.
Develop sectional headcount subordinates & monitor planning & budgeting to achieve targeted section performance.

Policies and Procedures

Monitor the implementation of TE global and TECMPI-released policies, procedures and systems and review and approve the Assembly-related Work Instructions. to provide working guidelines and direction for the Assembly team members.

People Management

Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports.
Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports.
Mentor, develop and motivate them.
Help resolve people/functional issues in the team to achieve targeted sectional performance and retain key talent.

In- Process Improvement and Process Management

Lead and approve the projects to optimize the production process.
Provide technical suggestions and coordinate resources for the improvement projects to increase production efficiency and make process improvements.

Production Management

Lead the production planning and review the production report.
Monitor the production process to meet production targets.

Equipment Maintenance and Management

Approve the equipment qualification and installation, and review the equipment-checking report in order to improve the equipment efficiency and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree Holder (Engineering)
10 Years+ experience as Manager
Detail Oriented
Has excellent communication skills
Has exceptional people management skills

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
