MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Tasks Summary and Responsibilities

1. Ensure that the assigned employees are deployed according to their qualifications and abilities and are led and developed in accordance with TE Connectivity Leadership guidelines.

2. Ensure the planned maintenance are scheduled and performed according to an annual or continuous planning to minimize emergency breakdowns and machines downtime.

3. Ensure that corrective interventions are performed in a minimized time and a good quality work that goes to the root causes.

4. Ensure the availability of all maintenance data and that all maintenance documents are well fulfilled.

5. Ensure the needed technical support and training to the maintenance team specifically and to other entities and department in case of need.

6. Apply an improvement maintenance initiative to increase the lifecycle of equipment and improve on its productivity and safety.

7. Ensure a reasonable and optimized spare parts' consumption.

8. Ensure a full control of the spare pars' consumption and highlight in case of emergencies.

9. Ensure and maintain a safe working environment and condition for all maintenance employees,

10. Ensure the safe and efficient working of plant machinery and equipment,

11. Ensure that the maintenance action plan is applied and executed withing its due time.

12. Efficient participation in the action plans

13. Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.

14. Participate in the new project and equipment installation and development. 

15.Support the manufacturing team with resources and technical expertise to Improve production processes,

16.the requirements of the TE Connectivity Management manual and its basics (Quality management ISO 9001/(ATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements, Environment management DIN EN ISO 14001,ISO 45001 Industrial safety guidelines OHSAS 18001) are followed and realized.

17. all special tasks given to him because of his experience and level of knowledge are done in due time and in an appropriate way.

What your background should look like:

Educational Degree  :

Bac + 2/3 (Mechanical or Electromechanical diploma)

Professional Experience :

2 to 4 years’ experience in industrial environment in Maintenance Department

Special Qualifications :

Knowledge and Skills:

Electrical, automation, drawing reading, technical analysis following std 8D methods. English Language.
