Drive the end‑to‑end digitalization and connectivity of the Smart Factory by deploying and optimizing MES Hydra and full machine IoT, to deliver reliable production data, simplify and standardize shopfloor processes, and sustainably improve performance (OEE, productivity, quality and cost) in close collaboration with Operations, Digital Solutions, Process Simplification and IT.

Your main tasks

• Strategic leadership of MES Hydra and digital solutions

  • Define, maintain and execute the MES Hydra roadmap in line with the Smart Factory strategy.
  • Ensure availability, performance and scalability of MES Hydra at plant level (and potentially across multiple sites).
  • Prioritize functional and technical enhancements based on business value and operational impact.

  Ownership of machine connectivity & industrial IoT

  • Define the target architecture for machine connectivity (IoT, protocols, gateways, data flows) together with TEIS and Global Digital organization.
  • Lead the rollout of connectivity for all equipment (new machines and brownfield).
  • Ensure quality, reliability and security of data collected from sensors, PLCs, IoT gateways and edge devices.
  • Standardize machine data models (tags, naming conventions, events) for consistent use in MES, BI tools and data platforms.
  • Coordinate suppliers (system integrators, machine builders, IoT vendors) and validate technical solutions.

  Smart Factory program leadership

  • Contribute to the overall Smart Factory vision and roadmap (MES, IoT, data analytics, automation, AI, etc.).
  • Lead or co-lead major initiatives (MES roll-out, machine IoT program, new data use cases).
  • Manage project planning, budget, risks and resources, with regular reporting to management.

  Interface between Operations, Digital Solutions, Process Simplification and IT

  • Challenge and prioritize business requests from Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics.
  • Translate business needs into pragmatic and sustainable digital solutions.
  • Ensure that new digital solutions genuinely drive process simplification and reduction of waste (time, manual data entry, system duplication).

  Continuous improvement & digital process design

  • Map and analyze key operational processes and their information flows.
  • Co-design, with Process Simplification, target processes that are standardized, measurable and data-driven.
  • Define and track performance KPIs (OEE, cycle time, scrap, downtime, schedule adherence, level of data automation, etc.).

  Data, industrial performance & advanced usage

  • Ensure integrity and availability of production data coming from MES and IoT-connected equipment.
  • Enable data usage to optimize performance (real-time monitoring, diagnostics, root cause analysis, predictive use cases).
  • Work with Digital Solutions teams to Stream, design and industrialize dashboards, reports and analytics models for operational users.

  Change management & capability building

  • Drive change in the field: communication, coaching, management of resistance.
  • Structure and coordinate training plans (MES Hydra, IoT tools, new digital processes).
  • Act as a sponsor for digital culture within the plant (data-driven decision-making, automation, standardization).

  Governance, security & IT/OT compliance

  • Contribute to defining and running Smart Factory governance (roles, responsibilities, change processes).
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and IT/OT segmentation for connected equipment.
  • Guarantee documentation of architectures, interfaces, key configurations and operating rules.

Your ideal background

• Master's degree in Information Technology or similar
• 8+ years of experience in IT Operations preferably in Automotive industry
• Strong understanding of MES / ERP / SCADA / PLC / IoT ecosystems 
• Advancedcommunication skills (French/English)
• Mastery of core MES concepts: production order management, shopfloor execution, traceability, resource management, process data, in-line quality management.
• Knowledge of common industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, MQTT, etc.
• Good understanding of production and support processes (Production, Maintenance, Quality, internal Logistics).
• Practical experience with continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and process simplification

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
