Reporting

• Reports directly to the Lab Supervisor
• Follows standard procedures and reports findings to supervisors

Measurement & Inspection Activities

• Performs precise part measurements and accurately records data
• Performs layout inspections for PPAP, Transfer, and NPI
• Performs measurements and analyses results according to production and customer requirements
• Interprets technical drawings, ISO GPS, and GD&T requirementsLaboratory Operations
• Performs routine technical tasks, including operating and maintaining equipment
• Performs day-to-day lab operations
• Maintains lab cleanliness, organization, and follows safety protocols
• Ensures 5S+1 implementation and discipline in the laboratory areaEquipment & Tools
• Ensures the good working order of measuring equipment and maintains lab documentation
• Control for pneumatic and manual guns
• Dummies calibration management

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Supports and maintains the Quality Management System (IATF 16949) and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations

Calibration & Metrology

• Verifies the condition and readiness of measuring equipment used by all departments in the plant, without performing calibration
• Notifies Metrologist and Laboratory support of any malfunctions or need for recalibration 

Responsabilités et Qualifications

Educational Degree
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or equivalent

Professional Experience
• 1+ year of laboratory experience
• Experience in automotive industry
• Injection molding and assembly experience advantageous

Skills & Knowledge
• Teamwork and communication
• Statistical and quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why)
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP
• PC skills (MS Office)

Languages
• Fluent English and French

HS&E
• Follow EHS, environmental and safety regulations
• Use required PPE
• Follow waste, chemical handling and fire prevention rules
