Reporting

Reports directly to the lab supervisor

• Dimensional and Functional Measurements

Performs measurements according to customer and production drawingsSupports NPI, transfer, PPAP and serial productionReads and interprets technical drawings, GD&T and ISO GPS requirementsPrepares measurement reports, layout inspections and measurement protocols

• Metrology and Calibration System

Applies and maintains the metrology and calibration system in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 17025 and internal regulationsPerforms metrological confirmation activities according to internal rulesEnsures proper labeling of measuring equipment

• Calibration Activities

Performs internal calibration of measuring equipment according to proceduresReviews results of internal and outsourced calibration against metrological requirementsEdits and authorizes internal calibration certificatesCreates and updates internal calibration procedures

• Training

Provides training to personnel on equipment and measurement practices

• Equipment Management

Ensures proper working condition of measuring equipmentIdentifies equipment failuresEnsures proper operation of laboratory and shop-floor measuring equipmentCoordinates with maintenance and suppliers when required

• Laboratory Management

Maintains 5S+1 in the laboratory areaMonitors developments related to the laboratory environmentPerforms daily laboratory operations

• Compliance and Safety

Follows EHS and environmental protection regulations and internal policies

• Additional Controls

Controls pneumatic and manual gunsManages dummies calibration

Responsabilités et Qualifications

• Educational Degree

BAC Technologic, Scientific or BAC ProfessionalBAC+2 (BTS / DUT) in:MechanicsElectrotechnicsElectronicsElectromechanicsPhysical Measurements

• Professional Experience

2 to 3 years of experience in a technical environmentIdeally in a laboratory environment:MeasurementCalibrationMetrologyBeginners may be accepted under supervision

• Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

Written EnglishTraining in ISO 17025Statistical skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTechnical expertise in the measurement fieldKnowledge of calibration and metrologyMS OfficeSAP
